Reason for hospital stays related to pregnancy loss and percentages

For all female patients, the percent of the source of payment was:
Spontaneous abortion: 26.3%.
Ectopic/molar pregnancy: 57.9%.
Other: 3.6%.
Induced abortion: 8.9%.
Postabortion complications: 3.3%.

Note: Pregnancy loss can occur in outpatient settings without hospitalization. The data presented here are limited to only those patients treated in hospitals.
